Calling all DDMES Volunteers! We need your help to make our March 15, 2024 DDMES DRAGONFLY DASH function. If you are able to come and assist us with the event please use this link and sign up today.
The Dragonfly Dash volunteer sign-up for working the event is now open. It's an excellent opportunity to support our students and make the event fantastic. Just a quick reminder that if you sign up during your child's class time, you'll need to work at a station during that time. Also, please keep in mind that this is strictly for adults only. No siblings will be allowed on the track during your chosen volunteer time slot. Only signed-up volunteers will be allowed on the track. So, if you're interested, please sign up today! These spots fill up quickly, and the sign-up will close on March 13th so we can assign all volunteers to working stations. Join the DDMES staff and students for a day of fun and fitness, all while helping to support our school! The Dragonfly Dash will be held at the Dillard Drive Magnet Middle School Track on March 15, 2024. Please park in a designated visitor spot at the elementary school and make your way down to the track to check in at the PTA table. (Orange Tent near track entrance gate)

9:25-9:55 Pre K, Pre K AU, ECS 1, ECS 2
10:10-10:50 Fifth Grade
10:55-11:35 First Grade
11:40-12:20 Kindergarten
12:25-12:55 Lunch
1:00-1:40 Fourth Grade
1:45-2:25 Third Grade
2:30-3:10 Second Grade
3:10 Clean Up

tables, tents, water, signage, decor, wristband buckets, DJ support, and more
Snow Cone Treats
Duties: Kona ice will have premade 3flavors of small snow cone cups, These will be delivered on a tray to each class starting point at the end of each grade levels assigned Dash time for each student for completed the Dragonfly Dash.
(Kona Ice Truck is for DDMES Students only not spectators)
Water Hydration Station
Duties: pass out water cups to students as they run their laps WE NEED TO KEEP THEM HYDRATED! :)

Lap counters
Track students Laps for their class starting point to be later entered into the fundraising system
Wristband handlers
Pass out Dragonfly Dash wristbands to class starting point students as they complete each lap
Cheerleaders
Help cheer on students class starting point as they complete their laps to help keep the excitement and fun going!!
***Just a friendly reminder that the Volunteer Sign Up for the Dragonfly Dash on March 15th, 2024 will be closing on March 13th, 2024 at 6pm . If you're interested in volunteering, make sure to sign up as soon as possible. Once the sign up closes, all signed up volunteers will be assigned to one of the Station Areas listed above to ensure a successful event. If all spots are full, don't worry! You're more than welcome to attend the event during your child's class time as a spectator. Thank you for all your support and we look forward to having you again for our next event soon!
